Dakshina is an ancient tradition of giving back, and it is a display of generosity, a private contribution back. When we experience a pure inner impulse caused by a higher purpose to help others, to express our unconditional gratefulness, it is called Dakshina. We have embarked on a “Dollar a Day” program where we encourage every member of our mandir to donate only $1 per day that we use throughout the year for worthy causes. Please contact us if you want to be part of the initiative.
We’ve been able to:
- Purchase breast pumps for the hospital
- Provide supplies to a local school
- Contribute to persons requiring surgery
- Give out hampers to those in need
- Have community programs
We welcome you join join this initiative.
